Pontinia, Italy - Greenhouse PV Testing Site
Overview
The project’s testing site is located in the Fattoria Solidale del Circeo farm and operates agrivoltaics responsive tracking system in greenhouses to provide optimum crop conditions with significant energy generation.
The pilot site, which is led by the University of Rome Tor Vergata, is also using a new smart irrigation system driven by soil moisture sensors to irrigate the plot automatically.
