Partner della sperimentazione, insieme all’Università di Tor Vergata la Fattoria Solidale del Circeo che nei giorni scorsi ha ospitato un importante incontro per illustrare ad alcuni titolari di aziende agricole e florovivaistiche il progetto “Regace”.

De EU heeft via het onderzoeks- en innovatieprogramma Horizon Europe € 5,3 mln toegekend aan het Regace-consortium voor de ontwikkeling en demonstratie van een innovatieve agrivoltaïsche technologie door gebruik te maken van CO2-verrijking om de elektriciteitsopbrengst te verhogen.

The European Union recently awarded a significant grant to the REGACE Consortium to develop an agrivoltaic technology that uses CO2 enrichment to increase electricity yields. The initial prototype was built by one of the consortium’s partners, TriSolar. The idea: to combine optimum crop conditions with significant energy production, including using agrivoltaics in areas with lower light conditions.

New agrivoltaic project to test crop-responsive PV trackers for greenhouses
An international consortium led by Israel’s Al-Zahrawi Society has launched the Regace project to develop agrivoltaic solutions for greenhouses. It will investigate the performance of a new tracking system across locations and climates and use carbon dioxide enrichment to improve crop yield.
